John Foresi - CEO, Director

As Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Venterra, John has overall responsibility for the Company. He is a co-founder. In addition to experience in the real estate industry, John has held Chief Executive positions in several technology companies, focusing on the supply chain and customer relationship management areas, and has been a Director of several technology companies. John has also held senior management positions in investment banking, where he was responsible for valuations and mergers and acquisitions and has held senior management positions in the transportation and consumer products industries. John has been recognized as a national 'Top 40 Under 40' award winner, as a top 100-impact executive by B2B Magazine and currently sits on the Board of Salt + Light Television. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Rory Holland - Director

Rory is a Director and a shareholder of Venterra. He brings depth of experience in numerous industries and business ventures to the team. As one of the directors he assumes responsibility for development of financial and real estate partners as well as oversight of the corporation's strategic direction. Rory spent most of the 1990s launching and developing several successful business ventures, the most notable being InterTrans Logistics Solutions that was sold in 1998 for approximately $100M. Over the past several years, Rory has focused on investing in US based multi- and single-family real estate.

Andrew Stewart - Vice President of Management Systems and Technology, Director

In his capacity as Vice President of Management Systems and Technology and as a Director, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the continued build-out of Venterra’s advanced management systems, real-time pricing and policy systems and all other technology development. His oversight also includes strategic direction for the company. Andrew is a co-founder of the company. His professional background includes extensive experience in software, technology development and automotive engineering and operations management. In these areas, Andrew has excelled at developing and deploying sophisticated mathematical applications to drive superior operating results. Andrew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Queen’s University and TH Karlsruhe University (Germany).


Management Team

Greg W. Finch - President

Greg is President of Venterra. As such he is instrumental in sourcing Venterra's acquisitions, overseeing dispositions, negotiating the terms of its financial transactions and managing the relationships with its institutional equity / debt partners. His responsibility also includes overseeing capital projects and the day-to-day management of Venterra's real estate assets. Greg's professional background includes experience in all facets of commercial and multi-family real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Psychology from Trinity Western University.

Bill Allison - Vice President, Supply Chains

Bill's responsibilities span a number of areas. These include commercial contract and supply negotiations as well as day-to-day responsibility for the technical services (both engineering and maintenance) areas of our business. Bill's background includes broad experience in the supply chain and high-technology industries. As a senior executive with a major supply chain software company, Bill was responsible for the profitable development and implementation of state-of-the art technology solutions that solved real-world logistical problems. He has built and developed business operations throughout North America and Europe. Bill holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies with distinction from York University in Toronto.

Richard Roos - Vice President, Finance and Operations

Richard joined Venterra in November 2002, with more than 8 years of financial and operations experience. Richard has oversight responsibility for the finance and accounting areas of the business and is primarily responsible for the property operations including day-to-day property management, collections, marketing, recruiting, employee performance management and financial performance.  He is also involved with the company’s strategic management and planning efforts.

Before joining Venterra Realty, Richard held a senior financial position with a technology focused sales and marketing solution provider for the Real Estate Development Industry. Prior to that, Richard was a manager in the corporate finance group at BDO Dunwoody LP, focusing on business valuations and acquisition due diligence. Richard holds a Bachelor of Accounting with First Class Honors from Brock University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
